Our Mission: 

Valor Never Alone is a non-profit organization based in San Antonio, TX that seeks to meet the needs of single mothers-ensuring they never feel alone. We provide financial assistance, medical needs, assistance finding resources, and community.

The Woman Behind It All:

As a single mother of six, Rosa was the definition of courage. Despite chronic health issues, the inability to drive, and countless obstacles stacked against her, she remained courageous for her children.

Our hope is to support single mothers in any way we can—to help lift some of the weight off their shoulders and remind them: they are not alone.

Message From Our Founder:

Hi, I’m Jacob Torres, the second youngest son of my late mother, Rosalinda Torres. My mother’s love and selflessness shaped who I am today. Even in her final days, she was thinking of us. Her strength inspired me to earn three doctoral degrees and dedicate my life to helping people live well. My focus is on early health prevention and screenings. I’ll never forget my mom’s last words. She was scared, not ready to pass, but I told her she was already bringing light to the world through us. Mom, you are missed every day. Valor was born to support families like ours — those feeling scared, unsure, or defeated, and to give them courage. You are never alone.
