Vegas Roots Community Garden makes healthier food choices possible for the low-income community.

We work together with over 25 companies, local agencies, and >100 weekly volunteers to maintain the garden that gives back directly to the community. We are growing food and making that food available through our honor system U-Pick and the Veggie Buck Truck.

Your donation will further the goals to grow food in non-GMO soil, grow health and grow life.

A donation to Vegas Roots helps us produce and harvest food that is grown in our rows and goes out on the Veggie Buck Truck right into our communities where fresh chemical-free veggies are needed.

Freshly harvested veggies are sold at affordable prices. Each stop is another opportunity to educate the community by giving food demos of veggies unfamiliar to the community.

With your donation we can continue to make a difference by educating the community about reversing Heart Disease and Diabetes while understanding how healthier food choices directly affect lowering High Blood Pressure and reducing Stokes.

We need your support to continue planting, growing, harvesting and making fresh veggies an available healthy food staple in our communities.

We have a long extensive and rich history of collaboration with partners from education, community services, corporations and local governments. They all understand the need. We want you to be a part of this effort.

Working in the garden yields many Blessings that Vegas Roots Community Garden can pass on to the people we serve as the garden grows.

Lil Roots Community Garden works with children ages 3 to 12 to grow veggies in their own 4-ft space. Lil' Roots grew incredibly tasty broccoli, artichokes, cucumbers, squash, carrots, strawberries and more. Monthly meetings include gardening, cooking, yoga, and sharing healthy food options while working with the soil to make farm-to-table a reality that children learn, live and understand. Your support would mean so much to Lil’ Roots.

The youth that volunteer get exposure to gardening by working with their hands and learn to appreciate how important it is to give back to the local community. Many become dedicated to sustainability and have a clearer goal for their careers. Your donation helps make a difference.

A little background about Together We Can and Vegas Roots Community Garden

Together We Can operates Vegas Roots Community Garden, which is on 5-1/2 acres of land located on the west side of the Las Vegas strip. The garden is Las Vegas' first and only public urban farm. Under Together We Can, the mission is to provide the Las Vegas community with the opportunity to grow food, learn about gardening and wellness, and to be a catalyst for positive change in the health of those in low-income communities.
