Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity

Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1995. Our affiliate has completed and dedicated 11 homes with house #12 for the Bonner family close to completion. The Ryan family has been selected as the recipients of house #13 in Sedona.

Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity (VVHFH) is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and low income, working families in our community. Our partner families are required to make a minimal down payment, contribute 300- 450 hours of “sweat equity,” and pay for their home through an interest free, no-profit mortgage. They come from all walks of life and through VVHFH, they will become homeowners.

At Habitat for Humanity, we believe that everyone everywhere deserves a decent place to live. Our program gives people a “hand up, not a hand out.” We empower families who are willing to work hard to achieve their dream of homeownership.
