Help Us Help Our Animals!

Our animals are always in need of medical care!

Animals in need come to our shelter on a daily basis. We are proud to have a clean, safe environment for the animals in our care. Without donations and our amazing volunteer staff we would not be able to keep our doors open. If the Verde Valley Humane Society were not able to exist the thousands of animals that come to us would instead be alone on the streets and left to die. Our facility is their hope, and their home, until they find their forever family.

The donations gifted to us are used for:

• daily care and necessities
• spay and neuter 
• prevent and treat disease
• medical treatment 

 

Please help us continue to provide the love and medical care these fur babies need until their forever family walks through our door!

State mandated spay and neuter procedures can cost anywhere from $31 to $295 per animal, depending upon whether it is a dog or cat, male or female, and  how much they weigh. A significant portion of our annual budget goes to spays and neuters, vaccinations and emergency medical treatment.

Then there is the cost of boarding, food, cleaning supplies, bedding, litter, utilities and maintenance. It all adds up so quickly!
