Our Organization: With the support of leaders in our community, our strategic partners, and our volunteers, "Veterans Partnering With Communities" currently all volunteer, aims to support our Inland Empire Veterans and their families. Incorporated in 2011. We were formed for the purpose of creating and maintaining a comprehensive, collabortative, results driven Veterans Resource Center, utilizing strategic partnerships and efficient networks to maximize successful outcomes.

Our vision became realized when we opened the Fontana Veterans Resource Center on Veterans day Nov, 11th 2012. Since then we have helped and assisted 650 veterans throughout the inland empire, with the majority seeking transitional and permanent housing and employment. benefits, claims assistance, and counseling services, despite being all volunteers and many challenges we have achieved a high success rate and alot of notice from our peers and our veteran communities we passionately serve. We also support all our community partners and strive to maximize efficient utilization of our collaborative community organiztional networks to achieve maximum success.

since opening The Fontana Veterans Resource Center on Veterans Day November 11th 2012 in partnership with the city of Fontana we have served over 550 veterans.; currently have received 2 community grants through "The Community Foundation, "will as Grant" , Strengthening Inland Southern California through Philanthropy." and 7 Home Depot Foundation Grants.

The following is a list of some of the services we now offer:

1. "Reboot Rebuild Reconnect" provides Pre-employment and employer outreach and job placement, Veterans Benefits education and connection, personalized lifetime tool kit and action plan geared toward succesfull goal attainment.  

2. Employment and business training

3. Assisting in job placement with local employers, partnering with the chamber of Commerce, Local and National Employers, Federal agencies, State EDD agencies, County workforce development agencies, and local union apprentiship programs such as hard hats to helmets.

3. Holistic therapies, includes theatre and the arts programs.

4. Working to become an accredited Entreprenuer and micro business training center.

5. Create a fellowship prgram utilizing  paid veteran positions to lead community projects with local colleges and organizations to identify and assist disabled and homeless veterans and their families.

6.Established a Community outreach connect program, connecting Veterans to other existing suportive services such as the VA, Cal Vet, S.B. County Dept of Veterans Affairs. and all of our other faith based and community partners.

7. Assist in Homeless Veterans placement into Veterans transitional  and permanent housing.

8. Assist and connect veteran families to veterans affordable housing programs. We have currently established one with the City of Fontana and are working to connect to more cities throughout the Inland Empire.

9. Specialized Women Veterans Component: We actively expand our programming to meet the dynamics of evolving impacts unique to female military veterans. We address gender-specific issues; provide supportive services, bridge gaps and links to communities, internal and external resources.

It is through our day to day operations at (FVRC) and from information shared with our many community partners that we have been able to identify gaps in Veterans Services in the areas of Transitional Housing, Permanent affordable housing, Transportaiton for Veterans and their families and employment and business opportunities.

Our goal is to be a full service community based Veterans Resource Center providing veterans wrap around services in partnership and collaboration with our whole community Empowering our veterans to transition successfuly back into their own communities.
