Victoria Avenue Forever

Founded in 1990, Victoria Avenue Forever is a public benefit, nonprofit corporation dedicated to the preservation and beautification of historic Victoria Avenue.  We raise funds for planting trees and roses, organize wordays devoted to tree-planting, tree care, pocket park creation and maintenance, and educate the public about the history and value of the plantings on Victoria Avenue through newsletters, brochures, information kiosks and special events.  We have planted over 1200 trees and thousands of roses, established three pocket parks, designed and funded the historic street signs, designed and installed three kiosks, planned and lanscaped a median extension to La Sierra, dedicted a Memorial Bike Trail, and interacted with the City involving all aspects of Victoria Avenue preservation including policy for development and traffic control.
