Vietnamese Heritage Institute

Founded in 1987, The Vietnamese Heritage Institute (VHI) is a US 501(c)3 tax-deductible non-profit non-governmental organization.  Its mission is to partner with individuals and groups worldwide to build sustainable economic models for poverty alleviation while protecting the environment in Vietnam. It achieves its goal by providing direct assistance to the needy while concurrently developing the local educational system at all level. VHI core projects currently include implementation of micro credit programs, granting scholarships to underprivileged students, support of agricultural extensions, civic and special education, and providing science & technology consultations for universities and research institutes.
