Since 2007, Village Exchange Ghana gives young women who have dropped out of school and teenage mothers access to vocational training allowing then to become actors of their own life.

They have access to a free creche, allowing them to work or study peacefully, wihile their children are just playing next door. 

VEG accepts children up to the age of 2, when they start school. Attending a creche close to their mothers is vital for early child development and successful breastfeeding protecting babies against fatal illnesses like diarrhea and pneumonia. 

Right now, the children are sharing part of seamstresses' workshop, which is a makeshift solution we would not like to become a definitive one. We need to build a separate open room with a small playground (with sand box, baby swing, and baby swimming pool in the front to accommodate a group of ten children.
