Village Stage Productions Inc

Village Stage Productions is a nonprofit theater company in Elk Grove, CA, with the goal of bringing the community together to create exciting productions for all ages.  Established in November 2018, Village Stage Productions began with a small group and a dream and has grown tremendously in the past few years.  We are so grateful for the warm welcome we have received from the Elk Grove community, and for the continued support of our growing village! 

Here at Village Stage Productions, our vision is to use community theater in an innovative and adaptable environment as a means to promote connection, foster an appreciation for diversity, and to provide an opportunity to set our leaders of tomorrow up for success through unique and immersive education.

Our organization offers a variety of ways to get involved, including: 

Main Stage: productions for our more mature audiences and participants

Village Playhouse: content for families, with adults and children working together on productions

Village Workshops: 6-8 week courses for youth on a variety of theater topics (Introduction to Theater, Storytelling, Character Development, Technical Theater, and more) for specific age groups

Youth Advisory Committee: open to youth in 7th-12 grades, providing them an opportunity to offer a fresh point of view for the adults of the board, engage in community outreach, develop leadership skills, and learn about theater production and management.

Volunteering: We are a volunteer-led organization and rely on our village to work together to create productions.  There are opportunities for all areas of interest including: acting, directing, stage management, design, technical crew, house management, and more!
