At Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired we’ve been empowering individuals to embrace their lives to the fullest for 80 years.

Anyone in need of our services is welcome at Vista Center.  We serve those in the San Mateo and Santa Clara communities, regardless of language barriers or cost.

Our highly qualified staff, work as a team to provide comprehensive services that are appropriate to each individual’s personal needs and goals.  These specific services come from a number of our core programs: Safe and Healthy Living (hands-on training), Low Vision Services (clinical evaluations), Children and Youth Services (youth activities and teaching support), Technology (access technology training), and Community Services (community education).

We have seen a greater need for our services the past 5 years due to the impact of diabetes on all ages and the active role the aging Baby Boomers continue to play in society.  To address these needs we are working on creating and boosting both our technology and educational programs.  The need is real and Vista Center is here for the long term to offer a one-stop shop of services and support.

Please help us RESTORE HOPE, PROMOTE INDEPENDENCE, CREATE OPPORTUNITIES AND TRANSFORM LIVES.  Make a gift today!
