Vivace Youth Chorus of San Jose

Since 2003, Vivace has offered a high-quality choral music education program for children 4 to 18 that balances vocal training, music theory and performance. Six levels of choral instruction and music theory span pre-school classes to teen a cappella ensembles. Repertoire is selected to be age appropriate, fun and challenging and draws from classical, folk and original sources.

Vivace’s collaboration with local musicians, composers and arts organizations further broadens singers’ choral experience, as does the opportunity to participate in U.S. and international children’s choral music festivals.

Vivace is committed to offering interested children the opportunity to experience the many benefits and joys of singing in a choir. Tuition is significantly less expensive than comparable choral programs in the Bay Area, scholarships are offered, and significant resources are devoted to increasing program enrollment in underserved communities in East San Jose.
