Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada (VMSN) is a donor-funded, nonprofit organization staffed primarily by volunteers offering free and charitable health-care services to low-income, uninsured residents of Southern Nevada. Serving men, women and children from two patient-centered medical homes (Ruffin Family and Paradise Park clinics), VMSN provides a crucial safety net to many who would otherwise go without health care. Our mission is to deliver quality care and support to those without access in our community, and to do so within a culture of caring.   

VMSN FY17 Highlights – VMSN delivered over $7,000,000 in FREE health-care services to over 2,700 low-income, uninsured residents of Southern Nevada last year, including: 

• 9,600+ FREE primary/specialty medical care, dental care and social service appointments 
• $3,127,857 in FREE medications through our on-site pharmacy
• $1,000,000+ in FREE diagnostic testing (labs and imaging) through our community partners
• 650+ volunteers donated a total of 44,673 service hours, valued at $1,324,517 including:
• Physicians & Physician Assistants
• Nurses - APRNs, RNs, LPNs & CNAs
• Pharmacists & Pharmacy Technicians
• Specialty Medical Professionals 
• Medical Assistants
• Social Workers & Case Managers
• Dentists, Hygienists, & Assistants
• Non-Medical Support Staff & Students
