VODEC was started in 1968 when a group of parents, teachers, and elected officials banded together to create a community-based employment program for their loved ones with intellectual disabilities. Since that day, more families have joined VODEC helping us to create many programs that serve hundreds of families in the Midwest.

VODEC provides day programs, employment programs, and residential programs that are designed to meet most every need and help individuals and communities reach their full potential through inclusion.
