Our Mission:  Our mission is to train the next generation of home builders in high school construction classes by building affordable, permanent housing for homeless veterans.

Our Vision:  Students building houses for small communities with the needs of homeless veterans in mind:  permanent, truly affordable housing in a supportive community environment.

What makes us different: We are a collaboration of industry, nonprofits serving veterans, schools, sponsors, and private citizens working together.  Each of our partners is providing expertise and resources consistent with its unique capabilities and the mission of its organization.  We receive no government funding.

Our history:  We started building our first house at San Marcos High School (SMHS) in 2019.  This 400 sq ft cottage was donated to Wounded Warrior Homes and installed as an ADU at a residence in Vista serving veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury.  Our students are now building our second cottage.

Fundraising Objective:  To fund our third house at SMHS and to expand our program to other high schools.
