Washington County Cemetery Preservation Group

Welcome to the Washington County Cemetery Preservation Group, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization located in the heart of the Ozarks.  WCCPG's purpose is to identify, document and promote the preservation of cemeteries and burial sites, marked and unmarked, located in Washington County, Arkansas; to educate about Arkansas cemetery and burial site laws and preservation guideline; to conduct any activite related to the above purposed in a lawful and ethical manner.

We are presently working on surveying and assessing all of the cemeteries and burial sites in Washington County.  We also are attending various workshops dedicated to learning about cleaning stones and doing simple repairs and we encourage all interested persons to join us.  Since we have recently been named a 501c3 non-profit organization we are working on a strategic plan for the future of our organization
