Washington County Historical Society-Inc

The Washington County Historical Society is a nonprofit organization founded in 1951. WCHS manages and maintains historic properties including Headquarters House Museum, the Archibald Yell Law Office, and the Ridge House, and also sponsors a number of activities marking the history of Washington County. WCHS spends a major portion of its budget on the maintenance of the physical structures of these historic properties.
