Washington Montessori Association

Dear WMS Community,

We are so deeply grateful to this community of parents, staff, grandparents, parents of alumni, alumni, friends, and businesses who continue to support all the work we do. At a moment defined by profound change and increasing reliance on technology, our commitment to developing critical thinkers, self-motivated learners, and compassionate human beings feels more essential than ever.

We are grateful to our remarkable teachers for what they bring to our students every single day, guiding them to become aware and self-motivated learners who will leave here knowing that they can make a difference in the world.

We are grateful to our students for their joyful curiosity and their commitment to hard work, and are privileged to witness their growth.

If you would like to support the important work we are doing at WMS, which counts toward our Annual Fund, we’d be very grateful. Every gift truly matters, and we thank you for it.

With gratitude from all of us at Washington Montessori School

Who We Are

Washington Montessori School, located in New Preston, CT is an engaging and substantive academic environment supported by a deeply-rooted and diverse community of families and educators. Our students, pre-K to 8, learn to recognize their individual and collective potential, develop thoughtful approaches to learning, and choose paths to responsible and fulfilling lives.
During this challenging time, we are inspired by the ways in which our faculty, families and staff--and our enthusiastic and resilient students-- have come together to deliver on our mission for our children. Thank you, thank you for your loyalty and support. We could not do this without you.
