Washington Open Parent Faculty Group

Washington Open Mission: Washington Open is a parent-participation school that nurtures the whole child, offering a collaborative community that allows for a rich variety of hands-on, real-world learning opportunities inside and outside of the classroom.  We balance academic, social, physical, and emotional needs, while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and a life-long love of learning.  

To help accomplish this mission, each year the Washington Open Parent Faculty Group (WOPFG) coordinates community building events that also raise much-needed funds to support the whole-child learning programs that our integral to the success of our school. Those funds are used to supplement field trip costs, buy classroom supplies for teachers and students, and to support enrichment programs. 

Unfortunately as we navigate this unique return, many of our beloved events are still on hold or will take on a different format, so we are again reaching out with a direct donation drive request. The money raised through this effort, combined with up to $41,000 from WOPFG reserve funds, will ensure that WOPFG can continue its mission for the 2022-23 academic year – and we need your help to make that happen. 

We hope you will consider supporting the WOPFG direction donation drive with a $250 gift (per family) for the year, or at a level that makes sense for you. You can make a one-time gift or spread your commitment out over several months. All gifts are tax-deductible (Tax ID #: 77-0353800) and can be matched through your company’s matching gift program.
