Washington Parish Animal Shelter is the only municipal animal shelter in Washington Parish. Opened in 2019 we have made incredible progress in our rural community. We have set up our shelter to be quite medical based and have performed over 3000 spay/ neuters in 4 years. We have made 90% No kill for 2022, 2023 and already working towards 2024. While we are not animal control we try our very best to help our community in every way possible.
