Changing climate, mounting demand for resources, declining water tables and stream folws, aging infrastructure and species declines are challenges facing our state. New and innovative leadership is needed.

The Nebraska Water Leaders Academy offers an educational expedrience for early to mid-career professionals to explore the complex matter of manageing water in Nebraska.

The Academy offers participants a one-year program with sessions on leadership training, field trips to see both urban and rural projects up close and leadership training that focuses on collaboration.

The Academy is a project of the Water Futures Partnership-Nebraska a non-profit 501(2)3 organization.
