Waterfront Park is the place where Louisville comes together. 

Once an industrial eyesore, our waterfront is now the most vibrant and diverse space in our city hosting over 2.4 million visitors annually.  This year, we invite you to join us in celebrating 25 years of Waterfront Park.   

From Wasteland to Wonder:  Just 30 years ago, our waterfront was a desolate industrial wasteland.  Today, thanks to the commitment of people like you, it has transformed into a green, vibrant and beautiful destination.  

While the park is free to enjoy, it is not free to maintain.  We need your help to preserve Waterfront Park for future generations.

Waterfront Park is a non-profit public park in Louisville, Kentucky. Bordering the Ohio River, we are not only a destination but the front door to the city. We connect people to the river and are devoted to preserving and growing a space that can be enjoyed by the community forever.
