The Waukesha Free Clinic is the oldest free clinic in the state of Wisconsin with a mission to support the health and well-being of uninsured, underinsured, and low-income friends and neighbors who reside, work, or attend school in the Waukesha County community. Since its inception in 1977 the Waukesha Free Clinic (WFC) continues to strengthen our commitment to support the medically underserved communities of Waukesha County. We strive to build health equity, increase access, and work towards improving health outcomes through medical, organizational, and operational excellence.

We operate our clinical services and programs under the Continuity of Care model, which provides a patient-centered medical home that prioritizes their health and wellness. We give each patient a health plan that may include prescription medications, labs, follow-up treatment, specialty referrals, and daily routines to improve their medical situation. We offer the following services at no cost to the patient:

  • Primary Care
  • Podiatry
  • Diabetic Support
  • OB/GYN
  • Physical Therapy
  • Cardiology
  • Pulmonology
  • COVID-19 Testing
  • Homeless Outreach
  • Lab Referrals
  • Prescription Medication
  • Medical Supplies

We need you now more than ever! We had a significant 72% increase in unique patient volume last year. This equates to hundreds of additional medications dispensed, hundreds of lab orders and follow-ups, and a significant positive impact on the community. Consider supporting our decades-old mission by donating to our Healthy People Fund. Everyone deserves a boost in their health and wellness.
