The Waverly Community Foundation
was established in 1989 with the goal of improving the quality of life in Waverly. This group wanted to establish a place where Waverly families could hold events for special occasions and celebrations as well as a park to play in & enjoy.
In 1998 the dream became reality with the completion of the social hall, playgrounds & ball fields. In recent years we have added a picnic shelter and two sand volleyball courts. The foundation is operated by an all volunteer board with help from community volunteers.
The hall has hosted many wedding receptions, business meetings, community gatherings and family reunions over the years. Our ballfields are full most nights spring through fall with games & practices and the sand volleyball leagues have grown like wildfire!
We also serve as the home of the Waverly Community Public Library.
Some of our future goals include updating the playground equipment, new signage for the facility & softball field improvements. Everything takes care and maintenance to be the best it can be for all our patrons.
We are happy to be such a prominent part of Waverly and could not be more thankful to the community and its residents for all their support! Thank you!!
