Waypoint Vets

Waypoint Vets is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit with the mission of Uniting and Empowering Veterans through Camaraderie and Adventure.  Our therapeutic adventures and retreats combine mental and physical intensity with the stillness and beauty of nature to deliver unique clarity and lasting healing to military veterans. We are actively combating post traumatic stress, military sexual trauma, and suicidal ideation on a national scale.  Our retreats are uniquely designed to blend adventure with therapeutic practices, providing Veterans a safe environment to process their experiences, build bonds with others, and regain a sense of community and purpose.

All Waypoint Vets experiences include the leadership of professional mental health experts, experienced guides, and trained peer support. We provide top of the line gear, lodging, transport, delicious meals prepared to accommodate all dietary restrictions, and dynamic itineraries catered to a vast variety of ability levels. We have a growing team of passionate veteran volunteers. No salaries are taken, and we cover the costs for our veteran signups through donations, sponsorships, and support. The heartbeat of our mission and message is to Honor the Fallen by Living, and by taking back our health and happiness together.

Waypoint Vets has developed an Alumni Program and Waypoint Wellness, enabling our growing family to stay close-knit; giving them access to mental health seminars, fitness classes, nationally accredited VSO services, Alumni from other trips, as well as our Team. We are carefully creating a national network of professional and peer support, and have deeply impacted deserving military veterans from all branches and in nearly 40 states since becoming operational in Fall of 2020.
