The #WeBall4Destin Foundation offers opportunity for education, character & career development for youth. Our goal is to build independence and self confidence in today's youth. We accomplish this through scholarships, charitable events, community service and activities by using sports as a catalyst.

Destin Wise Scholarship
The Destin Wise Memorial Scholarship is an academic scholarship given by the #WeBall4Destin Foundation presented to a high school senior each year to assist them in generating the path of least resistance to accomplish their goals. Award winners are generally presented the scholarship check on WLTX News 19 at the Do It BIG 7on7 Flag Football Tournament in June

Do It BIG Pro Skills Camp - Friday June 14th (Sumter High School)
Through a two-day camp, Mariel Cooper and our coaches will offer tips and hands-on guidance, including teaching, crucial football abilities stations, challenges, and non-contact games in a high-vitality, fun, and positive environment. Campers will be placed in small groups by age to ensure that each child gets maximum instruction. The camp will be staffed by some of the area's top current and former high school and college athletes. There will also be NFL and CFL staff present there as well.

4th Annual Do It BIG 7on7 Tournament - June 15th (Sumter High School)
The #WeBall4Destin Do It BIG 7on7 Tournament is an annual flag football tournament held in Sumter SC, in honor of Destin. Free Entry, Souvenirs, Raffles, Giveaways & more, will be given to everyone in attendance. FREE Food, drinks and music are provided. We have coverage from WLTX News 19, The Item Newspaper and more. Come out and have a good time in honor of Destin Jamar Wise! This memorial tournament is growing every year. Last year we had over 800+ in attendance. This year we are expecting 1000+.

DESTINy Program
NFL alumni, CFL and college staff will work closely with all DESTINy mentees on the football field, leading drills and teaching techniques geared toward offering students an authentic NFL and pro experience. Our highly credible and experienced staff will also take on the role of mentors, advising DESTINy mentees in several leadership seminars that focus on key principles of youth development, including:

• Personal Branding
• Sportsmanship
• Respect
• Integrity
• Money Management

We will meet with the students for twelve-weeks, every Saturday from 9:00a.m - 5:00p.m.

This scholarship has been nothing but beneficial to me as far as having those funds for school purchases as well as personal necessities and the occasional fast food meal in between studying. After paying tuition, my funds are little to none. However, with this scholarship I was able to keep enough funds in my account to get by each month. The gift basket given to me before I started school in August was also greatly appreciated. The items contained in the basket were plenty, and lasted me until the start of this semester.
