Weiss Scholarship Foundation

The Weiss Scholarship Foundation empowers children in Kenya with the gift of education.  We believe that education is the only long-term, sustainable solution to poverty.  Education is the solution for all the other problems.  We award full four year high school scholarships to children whose only chance for high school is our foundation.   The government does not pay the costs and the families do not have the money.  This village is the complete definition of extreme poverty.  

To date (2020) we have awarded 70 full four year high school scholarships.  24 have graduated so far while the rest are still in high school.  Of the 24 who have graduated, 9 have made it to University and the rest we place in vocational schools.
