Wentworth Home for the Aged

Wentworth Home is a non-profit, assisted living community that is committed to providing our residents with exceptional, welcoming and accessible care. We offer quality care that is tailored to each resident's specific needs. At Wentworth Home, we aim to be financially accessible, because everyone deserves access to quality care, and provide our residents with a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment that is truly their home. 

Founded in 1897 through the generosity of local philanthropist Arioch Wentworth and the charitable citizens of Dover, Wentworth Home opened our doors in June of 1898, beginning a long tradition of service to our community seniors and their families.  We provide home-cooked meals, rooms our residents can personalize, engaging social activities and care that is tailored to each individual by an outstanding staff - all in a beautifully renovated Victorian household.
