West Johnston High School Band Parents Association

West Johnston High School Band has been on a musical journey since 2002.  For the past 12 years, the students and staff of the WJHS Band have worked tirelessly, faithfully, and diligently to be the best performers they can possibly be.

  Their hard work and dedication has been recognized nationally and internationally.  Because of their reputation, they have been invited to and performed at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Walt Disney World, as well as several competitions along the east coast and Midwest. In addition to these great ventures, the Band was referred, reviewed, and invited to march at the New Year's Day Parade and Celebration in London, England. 

The WJHS Band is a highly dedicated team of students, blending a unique combination of music, movement, and art into a competitive show. These students work together as a team, learning many lessons that will not only enable them to be successful in band, but will teach them valuable skills that they will carry throughout their lives.

  They are able to do this thanks to the parents and volunteers of the WJHS Band Parent Association, as well as the local community and businesses that generously ensure our children have what they need for this amazing opportunity.

Due to the ever decreasing amount of funding that the arts programs receive, these programs are becoming harder to sustain at their current caliber.  Whilst members of the BPA work endlessly to raise money for our kids' program, we would greatly appreciate your help to ensure the continuation of this stellar program for these children.
