West Tennessee Veterans Home

In our part of Tennessee there are nearly 70,000 Veterans and, according to VA statistics, about 31,000 are age 65 or older.  This is the age group where nearly 2 out of every 3 will need some type of long-term care in their lifetime.

 This is one of the reasons our mission is to ensure every eligible Veteran has access to the long-term care or rehabilitation services they have earned and deserve in a local facility that provides the highest quality of services possible.

Once local funds of $25.2 million have been raised we can apply for a Federal grant for the balance of funds needed to build this 144-bed facility.  To date we have raised $15.2 million of the amount needed. Once built the facility will be self-funding and become part of the State's network of 5 star State Veterans Homes.
