Donations we receive will help us continue to implement evidence-based, trauma-informed programs that help individuals, families, and communities heal. Over 90% of the people WestCare serves have very low to moderate income and are often vulnerable and at risk. 

Each doorway into a WestCare Nevada program is designed to lead to solutions for the presenting issue as well as to be a first step toward identifying what other complicating factors are impacting the life of the whole person. Every WestCare program is part of a system of care that is recognized for clinical excellence, coordinated access, and collaborative innovation.

A subsidiary of WestCare Foundation Inc., WestCare Nevada, Inc. is a 501c3 tax-exempt, charitable non-profit founded and headquartered in Southern Nevada. WestCare Nevada provides a wide spectrum of behavioral health and human services available for adults, children, adolescents, and families, including:

• Detoxification from drugs and alcohol
• Crisis stabilization
• Treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders
• Prevention and education
• Services for veterans
• Services for runaway and homeless youth
• Services for people re-entering the community after incarceration
• Specific services for pregnant and parenting women
• Family education and support

Our commitment to helping people and our respect for the people we serve is evident as soon as you step through the door at any of our facilities and are greeted with a warm welcome from a caring team member. This is particularly true at our Community Involvement Centers (CIC), which are often people's first contact with WestCare.

WestCare Nevada CICs are located in Las Vegas, Pahrump, Reno, and Tonopah and serve local residents as well as surrounding rural and frontier areas by providing those in need with emergency supplies, including clothing, shoes, and baby supplies. Holidays bring food, clothing and toy drives, and parties for the people we serve.

Working closely with drug courts, CICs provide outpatient services for substance use and mental health disorders. In Pahrump and Tonopah, WestCare is often the sole provider of these critical services. Our telehealth programs are life lines to recovery services that link licensed and credentialed counselors to people with substance use and mental health disorders in remote areas.
