Camp Cadet of Westmoreland County

The Westmoreland County Camp Cadet Association was formed for the purpose of sponsoring, organizing and carrying out programs that will provide educational, recreational and related experiences for youth in Westmoreland County that will foster personal and physical self-development, good moral character, self-discipline, civic and social responsibility, and a better understanding and relationship between youth and law-enforcement agencies.

Mutual Aid Ambulance personnel provide the cadets with CPR and Airway Obstruction Clearing techniques; Stat MedEvac personnel provide the cadets with instruction on the uses/capabilities of their medical helicotper and the training of the staff; and the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department provides the cadets with instruction on their Engine, Rescue and Ladder trucks, SCBA and Bloodhound Team.
