WFU Sigma Chi Derby Days Foundation

You are invited to participate in the Delta Nu Chapter of Sigma Chi’s weeklong philanthropy event: Derby Days! In 2018, we donated a total of $97,507 to various causes including: Over $26,000 to Brenner Children's Hospital, $23,243 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation with Chi Omega (2018 Derby Days Champion) $5,000 to the Special Olympics Organization in conjunction with the Kappa Beta Gamma sorority (2017 Derby Days Champion). From $11,000 in 2015 to $41,145 in 2017, $97,507 in 2018, and to $72,832 in 2019 the Delta Nu Chapter seeks to grow our commitment every year to The Huntsman Cancer Foundation, Brenner Children’s Hospital, and charities of the winning sororities. Due to Covid-19, Derby Days was suspended on 2020 and 2021, however, we are committed to come back strong this year with an ambitious goal of 75K in fundraising. With the support of local businesses, sororities, and other outsiders we are confident we can reach the 75K club and get back in track from where we left off in 2019. We hope that you will help us achieve this goal! The week consists of different events ranging from trivia to field events all of which are based around group participation.
