Think back to your childhood. Did you have open spaces where you explored and played? Did you have creeks to splash through and fields to roam? Many of us had those experiences when we were young,but today, American children ages 3-12 spend 27 percent of their time each week watching television and only 1 percent outdoors. Thanks to the support of people like you and the community in Salt Lake County, we are working to change that! Wheeler Historic Farm provides 75 acres of outdoor space for kids and adults to experience everything from milking a cow to a walk in the woods! Thanks to the generosity of Salt Lake County Amendment A, we are working to build a Wheeler Farm Outdoor Education Center to give our youth (and adults) a stronger connection to nature right in the middle of an urban environment. To see this project happen, we need to raise $300,000 in matching funds. We have raised $53,000 so far, but we need your help!
