Wheels to Africa

Wheels to Africa's aims to empower impoverished communities throughout Africa by distributing bicycles, providing a vital mode of transportation.  Wheels to Africa is a youth led non-profit organization that collect bicycles throughout the Greater Washington DC area.

The organization was founded 12 years ago by Winston Duncan, after noticing the lack of functioning mode of transportations for impoverished communities in Africa. Working alongside his mother, the organization was able to send over 7000 bicycles to various regions throughout Africa, empowering thousands of Africans along the way.  

Wheels to Africa boasts a volunteer base consisting of mainly youth volunteers in hopes of creating awareness about how privileged we are in America. We utilize bicycles as a medium to educate on the importance of giving back to those less fortunate than us,.

Wheels to Africa hopes to expand its scope of operations to reach more impoverished communities and your support is paramount in these efforts.
