Whole Again

Whole Again's mission is to partner with faith-based and other non-profit organizations to provide meals, education and enrichment programming to at-risk youth to assist them in developing a healthy mind, body, and spirit. Whole Again's Mission and Vision are solely devoted to physically, intellectually, and emotionally improving the lives of children in Cincinnati. Children living in poverty face significant developmental hurdles, including food insecurity and the inability to access quality academic enrichment during the summer. Our programming, in partnership with numerous schools and non-profit organizations, seeks to dismantle these hurdles for Cincinnati school children so that they can thrive physically and academically. 

Since 2005, Whole Again has provided local at-risk children breakfast & lunch daily during the summer to break the cycle of hunger and summer-time learning loss. Working in partnership with hundreds of churches and community organizations, Whole Again’s Summer Food and Enrichment Program (SFEP) started with eight sites that served 200 children per day. Over the past 17 years, Whole Again has operated over 413 program sites providing 1,384,189 meals (breakfast, lunch, and weekend meals) and academic enrichment instruction (primarily focused on reading) to over 17,432 children.
