WELCOME!

We are Clay and Sally Clarkson. We have four grown children all following the Lord. We are Whole Heart Ministries.

Our ministry slogan says it all: Keeping faith in the family. We believe in the family, and we want to help families believe. Since 1994, we have encouraged and equipped Christian parents to raise wholehearted Christian children. Our heart is to help families experience the goodness and blessing of God by coming alongside to help them build a biblical home and a godly heritage.

In our journey of ministry, we have written books for Christian parents (Educating the WholeHearted Child, Our 24 Family Ways, Seasons of a Mother's Heart), reprinted public domain books, published a national children's book catalog for eight years, offered dozens of small workshops and large hotel conferences for parents, published a newsletter for mothers, and more.

In the last decade, Sally's books for mothers (The Mission of Motherhood, The Ministry of Motherhood, Dancing with My Father, and The Mom Walk) have enlarged the borders of our ministry. We have offered mothering conferences nearly fifty times in several states for thousands of moms. Sally has spoken to moms on four continents, and her books are now published in at least five foreign languages.

Out of that expanding writing and conference ministry to mothers, a new motherhood ministry initiative has taken root within Whole Heart. Our vision for Mom Heart Ministry is simple: We want to cultivate an international small groups movement to help restore moms' hearts to God's heart for motherhood. We want Christian mothers to know that what they do at home with their children is a strategic ministry of discipleship with eternal impact.

We want to capture the hearts of a whole new generation of young mothers--modern Christian moms who are connected, mobile, and social. We want to encourage, equip, and engage them where they live and where they connect--in small groups and in the digital world. Sally's blog at ITakeJoy.com is a start, but much more needs to follow.

We are "reaching forward to what lies ahead" and pressing on, but it's a lot of vision for just two people. We can see it all, but we can't do it all. That's why we need you to join our vision.

We need to hire additional staff: (1) a full-time web/tech/media staff to direct and manage digital and connected ministry; (2) an events management staff to coordinate annual national conferences and other smaller events; and (3) freelance graphic artists and programmers.
