You will help us continue to succeed as the premier choral ensemble in south central Kansas. Our nonprofit, auditioned choir performs several major concerts each year as well as undertaking community outreach and fundraising efforts to further the choral arts in Wichita and the surrounding region and state.

Founded in 1978, our strength has always been in the pursuit of excellence, exemplified by our Artistic Director and Conductor Dr. Mark Bartel, and the men and women who are professionally trained and individually auditioned and have a shared passion for the Choral Arts. Many of us are music educators and return much of our rehearsal, performance, and repertoire knowledge to our classrooms. 

Through our concerts in Wichita and neighboring communities, and frequent performances at state and regional music conventions, your support helps explore the entire breadth of the choral repertoire, from the Renaissance to avant-garde to popular, and helps to share delightful and meaningful concert programs with everyone. We especially like sharing the educational and professional aspects of music education with students from elementary to college-aged. 

When you join with us, together we see this as our mission: to champion significant choral music and perform it at the highest national standards, contribute to the quality of the cultural life of greater Wichita and the state of Kansas, and foster music education in our communities. We are the only adult vocal chamber group performing in our area, and we have been a nonprofit 501c3 organization since our founding in 1978. 

Be a part of our 36-year history! Support us with your dollars and help sustain the WCC! Our first concert of the season was on Dec 14-15th as we presented "Sounding Joy: Trumpets Sound and Angels Sing!". We perform again on April 12-13th, 2014 in a concert entitled "Songs from the Heartland". It will feature Earnest Alexander, gospel singer, as well as middle school choirs from three Wichita schools.

Our final event of the season is "Cabaret", a concert fundraiser on June 6th 2014 at Praire Pines. We also performed as guest artists on the Hesston-Bethel Performing Art Series in Dec 2013, and we will perform on March 1, 2014 at the Kansas Music Educators Association annual In-Service Conference.
