Wichita County Autism Awareness

Established in 2011, Wichita County Autism Awareness (formally known as Wichita Falls Autism Awareness), has promoted Awareness and Acceptance of individuals on the Autism Spectrum through events such as Color Run 5k/1mile, Sensory Friendly Movie Events, Sensory Santa, Teen Socials, Law Enforcement and Caregiver Training, as well as Grants for much needed therapies, and Scholarships for higher education at Vernon College.

Our Mission is to invest in Awareness and Acceptance in order to empower those in our community. We do that by connecting people to the resources they need through education, advocacy, support, information, referrals and community programming.
