Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation

The Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation’s purpose is to To enhance the quality of life in the Wichita Falls Area through the promotion and support of charitable giving.  We work daily with donors and nonprofit organizations in the region to respond to area needs and improve the quality of life.

In addition to facilitating donors’ interests, WFACF manages a thriving scholarship program for area students, makes grants to volunteer fire departments in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma, serves as a community convener to address challenging issues facing our area, and allocates a portion of foundation funds annually to an application based grant program for 501(c)(3) organizations. Gifts to WFACF are critical to continuing these valuable opportunities.

In 2024, WFACF is celebrating it's 25th Anniversary! WFACF professionally manages over 300 funds and has awarded over $118 Million in grants through it's charitable funds since 1999.

The quality of life for the Wichita Falls area will forever be enhanced by the philanthropic legacy that is being built at the Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation!
