Wichita Falls Sickle Cell Support Group

 Did you know  that more than 70,000 people have Sickle Disease and more than 1,000 babies are born with Sickle cell disease each year and it is estimated that Sickle Cell Disease affects 90,000 to 100,000  people in the  U.S. Our mission is to provide support and education materials to families who are living and dealing with the effects of having sickle cell anemia along with raising awareness in the community. Our organization is made up of friends and family members who have someone or know of someone who is affected by this life-threatening disease. We are here to network share experiences and learn from each other as we work to help improve the quality of life for sickle cell patients. 

Your financial contributions will help support Santa's visit on Christmas Day, offset cost for our annual Sickle Cell walk, provide education materials  and provide meals for families on Thanksgiving and Christmas who are in need.
