Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (WWWRC) was founded in 2016 and is an organization of volunteers dedicated to wildlife rehabilitation and education in the Texas Panhandle. WWWRC is the ONLY State, Federal, and USDA permitted facility in the Texas Panhandle caring for the orphaned and injured wildlife in all 26 counties.
WWWRC is located on 11 acres in Northwest Amarillo and since its founding our team has cared for over 18,000 injured or orphaned wildlife species.

Throughout the course of a year, WWWRC will:
--Care for over 3000 orphaned or injured wildlife species (including transport) from the Amarillo area and surrounding 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle 

--Provide wildlife education programs for schools in 37 counties in Texas. Last year programs were given at 53 schools 

--Partner with Texas Tech School of Veterinary Medicine in wildlife research and provide training for 3rd and 4th year vet students

--Educate AMTech Career Academy Animal Science interns on wildlife handling and care

--Teach Pre-vet and companion animal students at WTAMU University herpetology and reptile husbandry
