Will James Society

Mission Statement:

“To promote the Legacy, Literature and Art of the Great Cowboy author, Will James, through the gifting of his inspirational books to schools, public libraries, our military units and hospitals throughout the world, and other interested and worthy institutions.”

Our program provides young people (and readers of all ages) the opportunity to learn about the life of the cowboy, horses, rodeos and ranching through the writing and illustrations of Will James.  We purchase new books written and illustrated by Will James. The books are given, at NO charge, to school and public libraries throughout the United States and Canada and to military units throughout the world. We have donated over 2,300 books since 2007. Our funds come primarily from contributions made by members of the Will James Society.
