The Will To Live Foundation, Inc.

A foundation with a motto of "For the kids, through the kids, by the kids!"  the Will to Live Foundation is committed to fighiting the epidemic of teen suicide by raising awareness AND increasing the Will To Live of teens and young adults everywhere.

The foundation was founded in October of 2010 by John and Susie Trautwein, of Johns Creek GA (Atlanta suburb,) after the shocking suicide death of their oldest child Will.  A 15 year old Freshman in high school, Will Trautwein had it all.  He was the last person anyone would have thought would suffer from depression and take his own life.

His death shocked his family, his frends and an entire community.

Over the past three years, the Will To Live Foundation has stayed close to it's mission (www.will-to-live.org) and has played an extremely active role in spreading the awareness message, while also spreading a clear message of love and hope for teens, through it's "Life Teammates" program that has now reached well over 30,000 people.

The funds raised by the kids and through the kids of the foundation have also funded the SOS (signs of suicide) program throughout all of Atlanta Fulton County public schools and many other schools around the country as well.
