Are you looking for The Urban Farmers? We are William James Association, the sponsoring organization for The Urban Farmers. Are you confused about our relationship? The answer is simple.

Williams James Association is an established California 501(c)3 non-profit organization registered with IRS. We have been around since 1971.

The Urban Farmers is one of our fiscally sponsored projects. If you are not familiar with the term "fiscally sponsored", all it means is that in order to save time and money, we help administer The Urban Farmers project. We do the accounting, file tax returns and do a lot of work that is necessary to keep the project on track. This is IRS’s recommend start up process for all non-profits.
