Camp Encouragement 2025: A Pathway to Joy and Healing
We’ve reached 75% of our $40,000 goal—and we need your help to get to the finish line!

For children facing the pain of loss, finding joy again can feel out of reach. That’s why The Will Trippley Foundation created Camp Encouragement—a free, transformative summer experience where kids ages 7–12 can process their loss, build resilience, and rediscover what it means to feel hopeful and connected.

Since 2014, over 300 children have taken part in this growing program. In 2025, we’re expanding Camp Encouragement into a full three-week journey, including our first-ever overnight experience at the Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center. From nature-based learning and team-building challenges to podcasting with CMP Radio and exploring the African American Museum in Philadelphia, every activity is designed to inspire confidence, connection, and healing.

We’re also building a new program just for teens—and looking ahead to 2026, we’re partnering with Buck Rock Art Camp in Connecticut to provide scholarship-supported creative opportunities outside of Chester. But we need your help to get there.

Our Goal: $40,000
