Williamsburg Area Faith In Action (WFIA) is a non-profit that fosters caring relationships between volunteers and seniors age 60 and older. We accomplish this mission by providing a variety of support services free of charge to seniors living in the Greater Williamsburg area. Services currently include medical transportation to and from appointments both locally and out of town, weekly or daily phone check-ins, and delivery of groceries, food pantry items, and prescriptions. Prior to the pandemic, we offered in-home support services such as assistance with housecleaning, caregiver support, and one-on-one visits.
