Winchester Community Work Group

Winchester Community Work Group performs home repair and improvement projects for elderly, disabled and veteran homeowners.

We host a camp in July each year when up to 300 high school and college students come to Winchester for a week and do up to 50 projects. We also have a cadre of local volunteers who will do another 30 projects annually. These projects include building wheelchair ramps, weatherization, porch and step repair, etc. All the work is done at no cost to the resident homeowner. And all work is done by volunteers and those volunteers absorb all administrative costs. We partner with Group Mission Trips,  Habitat for Humanity, Clark County Community Services, Clark Co Association of Churches and Clark County Schools.
