Wind in my Feathers

A nonprofit organization

To share the uniqueness and beauty of raptors from all over the world explaining their role in our environment. Owls, hawk, falcons, Mississippi Kite and vulture demonstrate their unique survival adaptations; feathers, feet, eggs, and skulls depict the differences between the species. Wind in my Feathers has USFWS and LAWFS permits and has rehabbed and released hundreds of raptors. Your donations help share these magnificent raptors with the public and the next generation. Thank you!

Each program shares the uniqueness of 6 different raptors from all over the world; they are taken out one at a time and sit on the fist. The differences between their feathers and skulls help explain their role in our environment. Some are rehab birds and cannot be returned to the wild due to their injuries. The audience gets a chance to experience the beauty of these birds up close and hopefully will inspire them to take care of all our environment.
