The Wings of Change is an environmental nonprofit, striving to educate the world on the importance of butterflies! Our organization educates the community by teaching people how to (re)introduce native plant species to our local environment. These plants improve butterfly and bee migration, increase pollination, and lower water usage, all the while making a beautiful environment for our homes and towns.  We are educating the community on how butterflies affect everything, including fire safety, drought tolerance, even our health!

The Wings of Change is dedicated to restoring natural beauty to our environment. Through our use of native plants, we are improving landscapes and ecosystems to improve butterfly migration and make our Earth a cleaner, greener place. Our mission is to re-introduce native plant species needed to support thriving butterfly activity.  These plants will provide a balanced landscape, which improves drought resistance and fire safety. Not only do these native plants require less water, but they also attract and provide critical habitat to all of our native species including butterflies and other pollinators.

Butterflies and bees start off a whole chain reaction to life; they are keystone species! They are pollinators and a food source for other species, acting as an important connector in any thriving ecosystem. Butterflies have been widely used by ecologists to study habitat loss and climate change. When you see the simplistic beauty of a butterfly, now you know its grand significance.

We invite you to LEARN, GROW and CHANGE with us.
