Wiregrass Childrens Home

The Wiregrass Children's Home is the only emergency shelter providing care for sibling groups in the Wiregrass Area.  We are licensed to provide care for up to 10 children.  Since 1990 we have provided care for over 500 children.  We assist children ages 2-18. We serve Barbour, Coffee, Dale, Geneva, Henry and Houston counties.  Our home depends upon contributions from citizens, area businesses, churches and annual fundraisers.  We are managed by a local Board of Directors comprised of area men and women who volunteer their time and energy to manage the home and assist to raise the funds needed for operation.
